Orphaned dreams

When dreams are abandoned on the gates of reality, they turn into pile of feathers.

A feather fallen on the ground is nothing more than a residue of someone's orphaned dream....

My dear baby,

May the angels rest their wings upon your heavy eyelids,
May their blessings warrant peaceful dreams,
May you fulfill everything God intended for you,
May you be healthy and happy.

Time works against us, my love

Sometimes, I want to tell you I love you as hard as the cold winds hug the mountain.
Sometimes, I want to tell you, you are my everything.
Sometimes, I just watch you.
Most times, I feel you.

Forever, I love you!

For Joana!

I’m fishing for stars in a soup bowl. The only thing I catch is the smile of my life. She laughs, coughs and unwillingly spills a few of the stars on her knee. She is happy and so am I! I wish every day to be a star soup day. With her, clutching her fishing rod, reeling in her stars. I love her. One day she says to me, I will catch all of the stars in the dark purplish sky and will drown them in the salted soup. Then, we will call them starfish.
